The Cedar Point Cottage is a perfect getaway located directly on the River. The non-smoking, housekeeping cottage sleeps 6-10 people and has one bathroom with a full tub. There is a dock which allows you to bring your own boat or you can rent a boat in nearby Clayton at Clayton Marina. You can also enjoy swimming or fishing from the dock.
The cottage is just a short walk from Cedar Point State Park which offers a boat launch and a sandy beach which can be used for an additional fee paid to NYS Parks.
The cottage has a living room that directly faces the waterfront. Sit and relax on one of the several couches and enjoy the beautiful view. There is a television with satellite programming and wireless internet access is available.
The galley-style kitchen has a full size refrigerator, small stove, microwave and toaster oven. The kitchen is equipped with a coffee maker, dishes, glasses, silverware, and pots & pans. The dining room has a table that extends to seat 8 people. Additionally, the sleeping loft for 1 adult or two children and a pull-out sofa is located in the dining area.
Bedroom number one provides visitors a comfortable double sized bed. Also shown above is the sleeping loft. Sheets , pillows and blankets are provided.
The second bedroom is a large room that sleeps four in a queen size bed and a full sized bed. Sheets, pillows and blankets are provided.
The cottage has an enclosed porch and a small patio with a gas grill. There is a large safe yard away from the River that provides a play area for children.
A small store, deli and gas station is located at the entrance to the cottage, and a restaurant is just one mile away. Attractions, sightseeing and shopping is located in both Clayton and Cape Vincent just minutes away.
The Cottage is rented separately from the Boathouse and is offered by
the week in season. A long term rental would be considered.
There are no housekeeping services offered during your stay. It is
expected that before you leave the cottage is clean except for
washing the linens and making the beds.
A 50% deposit is must be made within 7 days to confirm your reservation.
The balance is due upon arrival. Refunds will be made less a $200
surcharge if we are able to rent the cottage to another party. No
refunds will be made within 14 days of arrival or for early departure.
The weekly rental rate is $1600 for the cottage. If you wish to
rent both the cottage and the boathouse, the weekly rate is $2100.
